Yorkshire Tales

Bringing your stories to life...

who we are

Yorkshire's Premier Event Performance Company

Yorkshire Tales is a dynamic Sheffield-based event performance company, founded by Ali Mylon and Jowanna Rose, specialising in celebrating your venue and its wonderful history.

what we offer

Yorkshire Tales offers a distinctive and individually tailored audience experience that can celebrate the history of your venue, bringing to life its unique characters or special events through a blend of theatre, audience encounters and a bucketful of joy along the way!

Yorkshire Tales collaborates with your venue to create a bespoke experience, whether that be:

  • walkabout characters who interact with the public throughout the day
  • mini-performance vignettes that spring to life unexpectedly in curious places around your site
  • staged performances that reflect the stories that you want to tell

Whatever the experience you decide upon, Yorkshire Tales’ work is always fully researched, immersive, fun and inclusive, taking all ages on magical story journeys to truly celebrate your wonderful place… we can even throw in a song or two along the way! Jow and Ali both have Enhanced DBS Certificates and Public Liability Insurance.

If you would like us to bring some sparkle and delight to your special venue, then please feel free to get in touch. We can’t wait to hear from you!
